Alterations

We offer in-house alterations to our brides on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage our brides to book their first fittings with us as soon as their gowns arrive in the salon to increase the chance that we are able to alter in-house. If we are fully booked when your gown arrives, we have a list of other seamstresses in the area to whom we are able to refer. Our alterations package is $1,050 and includes everything to make the gown perfectly for each bride, as well as adding the bustle. We offer gown customizations, e.g., adding sleeves/straps or removing the gown train, for additional fees.

We also offer two options for rush alterations - in under six weeks and fully expedited in a week. The six-week rush package is $1,300, and the expedited one-week package is $2,000. For standard alterations, we schedule three fittings spread out over the three months leading up to the wedding. First fittings are offered at our salon each week on Wednesday and Thursday. Second and third fittings are conducted in our alterations studio in Midtown Manhattan.Those fittings are available Tuesday - Saturday each week.

Accessories and Little White Dress Appointments

We offer stand-alone accessories and little white dress appointments to facilitate each bride completing their wedding wardrobe! Accessories appointments provide brides an opportunity to select a veil, headpiece, jewelry and other accessories to complete their look that they did not purchase at the time they first found their gown. Brides may also book appointments to try little white dresses and other bridal looks for their engagement party, bridal shower, rehearsal or even a second look for their wedding day!

These standalone appointments may be booked in the salon each week from Tuesday - Friday. Alternatively, brides may try accessories and other wedding attire during their first alterations appointment.

Cleaning and Preservation Services

We offer cleaning and preservation for gowns purchased and NOT purchased at our salon. We recommend cleaning and preserving your gown as soon after the event as possible. The standard cost for cleaning and preservation is $500 and the process typically takes two-three months. There are custom cleaning and repair options for an additional fee. Brides may drop off their gowns at the salon and we send them out to the cleaning service. Veils may be cleaned and preserved along with the gown at no extra cost. The cleaning service ships gowns directly back to the bride when the process is complete. We also offer a cleaning only service that can be done as quickly as three weeks time. Prices for cleaning only begin at $250.
